fix

the demo tape is shown when the venue is unreachable; no receipt mints off it

of Cubicle, the operator deck · CC-BY-4.0

sealed cases that reached it: 0 — sealed cases that reached this word (the store counts, never reads)

the answer

When the candle venue cannot be reached the deck falls back to a deterministic demo tape and says so in the masthead: UNSEALED · demo tape. Nothing on that path mints a receipt. It clears when the venue answers again.
